By downloading, installing, accessing, building, or using Bifurc, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

1. About Bifurc

Bifurc is a developer-focused desktop application designed to assist with local development workflows and tooling.

Depending on the version and features available, Bifurc may provide functionality relating to:

Local service management API and network inspection Proxy configuration HTTPS traffic inspection Mock services Git repository operations Workspace and environment management Local development utilities

Bifurc is intended for legitimate development, testing, debugging, and authorized use.

1. Availability and Distribution

Bifurc may be distributed through different platforms and under different distribution models.

1. Paid Versions

The price of a Store-distributed version may reflect factors including:

Purchasing Bifurc does not automatically create a consulting, maintenance, or customer support agreement between you and the developer.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing the Software does not guarantee:

Technical support Personal assistance Bug fixes Feature requests Future updates Compatibility with future operating systems Continued availability of the Software

Refunds and payment processing may be subject to the policies of the platform through which the Software was purchased.

1. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the applicable software license, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bifurc for personal or professional purposes.

You may use Bifurc as intended for legitimate development and authorized technical purposes.

You may not use Bifurc in a manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of others.

1. Intellectual Property

Bifurc, including its name, branding, logos, user interface, design, documentation, and original content, is owned by Harshal Kudale, unless otherwise stated.

All rights not explicitly granted to you are reserved.

The source code of Bifurc, where made available, is governed by its accompanying software license.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of Bifurc or its intellectual property.

You may not represent Bifurc as your own work or claim ownership of the Software.

1. Restrictions

Except where explicitly permitted by the applicable software license, you may not:

Copy or redistribute Bifurc as your own software Sell or commercially distribute Bifurc without permission Rebrand Bifurc and present it as your own product Remove or alter copyright, attribution, or ownership notices Use Bifurc's branding, name, or identity to misrepresent affiliation or ownership Claim that you created or own Bifurc Use Bifurc or its components to violate applicable laws

If source code is available, your rights to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works are governed by the license included with that source code.

1. Authorized Use

Bifurc includes powerful development and system-related functionality.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have proper authorization before using Bifurc to interact with:

Networks Servers APIs Applications Git repositories Devices Certificates Network traffic Systems owned or controlled by another person or organization

You must not use Bifurc to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.

1. Network and Proxy Features

Bifurc may allow users to inspect, proxy, modify, mock, or otherwise interact with network traffic.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have authorization to inspect or interact with any traffic processed using the Software.

You must not use Bifurc to unlawfully intercept, monitor, or access communications or data belonging to others.

1. HTTPS Certificates

Bifurc may provide functionality related to creating, installing, or using certificates to enable HTTPS inspection or proxy functionality.

Certificate installation and trust configuration can affect the security of your device and network environment.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving certificate-related actions before performing them.

You understand that improperly configured certificates or proxies may result in:

Security risks Failed network connections Application connectivity issues Trust warnings Other unintended consequences

Use these features at your own risk.

1. Git Operations and Data

Bifurc may provide tools that perform Git-related operations.

Depending on how you use the Software, these operations may affect:

Files Branches Commits Repository history Remote repositories

You are responsible for reviewing actions before confirming them.

You should maintain appropriate backups of important repositories and data.

We are not responsible for data loss, repository corruption, accidental commits, incorrect Git operations, or other consequences resulting from your use of the Software.

1. No Guaranteed Support

Bifurc is independently developed and maintained.

The Software is provided without any obligation to provide:

Customer support Technical assistance Bug fixes Feature development Maintenance Training Consulting Responses to individual requests

Feedback, feature requests, and bug reports may be reviewed at our discretion.

Submitting feedback does not create an obligation to respond or implement requested changes.

1. Software Updates

Bifurc may provide updates, modifications, improvements, or new versions.

We may also:

Change features Remove features Fix or introduce compatibility changes Stop supporting older versions Discontinue the Software

We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely.

1. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bifurc IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Software is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

We do not guarantee that Bifurc will:

Be error-free Operate without interruption Be secure in every environment Be compatible with every system Meet your specific requirements Prevent data loss Remain available indefinitely

You use the Software entirely at your own risk.

1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Harshal Kudale shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of or inability to use Bifurc.

This includes, without limitation:

Data loss Loss of Git repositories or repository history Configuration loss Network interruptions Proxy configuration issues Certificate-related issues Security issues System damage Business interruptions Loss of profits Loss of information

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files, repositories, configurations, and data.

1. Third-Party Services

Bifurc may interact with third-party services depending on the features you use.

For example, Bifurc may contact GitHub to check for available software updates.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their respective terms, policies, and conditions.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of third-party services.

1. Privacy

Your use of Bifurc is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Bifurc is designed primarily as a local-first application and does not intentionally collect personal information or usage analytics as described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Termination

We may terminate or restrict your license to use Bifurc if you violate these Terms or the applicable software license.

Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and, where legally required, remove copies of the Software under your control.

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will be made available through the Bifurc website or distribution channels.

The Last updated date indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.

Your continued use of Bifurc after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
